WOWSERS! This is one really awesome reference tome to add
to your sources of info for your personal computer interactive
relational database of the art and designers
in the periods -- Bauhaus, Post-War and Modern design, in their wide ranging
formats., styles and materials employed -- wood, glass, ceramic,
fiber, metal, plastics. Loads of data in both text and large
photographs on heavy glossy paper -- great for that term paper
on a survey of industrial design of the last hundred years, art project
or other presentation!!
 
Several designers have a biographical sketch, some with their photograph, which makes this yet more
informative as a specialized reference source. Provenance and
literature (references to the object) are given for many items.

Edouard Jeanneret (perhaps better known
