Estate Sales Adventure

Folks, Traderbrock has entered the women's clothing business. No, it wasn't in the business plan. You see, I went to another one of those addictive estate sales. This one was run by my church, which helps to get one's defensives down. Anyway, as I was looking for fishing poles I found myself in a closet full of ladies clothing. But it was weird because most of the items still had the tags on them. I mean like new, but the clothes were older styles. I did a quick calculation using the swag system and came up with 80% with tags.

So I asked my wife what she thought and she said they were brand new vintage clothes that someone bought a long time ago but never wore. Then I found another closet across the hall full of the same stuff. Then I found a third closet in another bedroom that had shoes that had never been worn.

Now here's the thing that got me. It was late on the final day of the estate sale and I overheard the sellers, my friends, saying they were worried about what to do with the leftover clothes. So like a dummy I asked, "what do you want for all of them?"

Well, two pickup loads and one rented u-loc-it later I was in the ladies' clothing business. Folks, I'm not kidding. I have more women's clothing than a department store. So you all have to come in and bail me out. My fishing buddies are kidding me unmercifully.
