This is a 1949 pamphlet from the Public Affairs Committee (a non-profit educational program) entitled "How to Tell Your Child About Sex"; it is Public Affairs Pamphlet number 149. The 28 pages of this little booklet offer ways to handle the "strange business of sex education" and include a fair amount of what seems to be common sense for parents to refer to. It is a window into a slower time without the bombardment of media and the internet, and some of the material seems obviously naive and somewhat humourous in this day and age!
