About Perfume Presentations -- first column of MANY illustrated Editorial pages in English [also in French] by the author -- she covers MANY aspects of parfum flacons, including Kama, the Hindu God of Love, The Figural Stoppers of Julien Viard, Women of the Day, etc. -- this is an extremely unusual French auction catalogue featuring 341 Lots, all of which are illustrated, some in multiple color photographs

Personal Observations -- WOWSERS! I am super pleased to offer my online patrons a copy of the awesome book dedicated to the 2005 French auction of fragrance bottles / sets at the Hotel Bristol in Geneva, Switzerland -- price estimates provided in CHF / Euro / $us -- ALL bottles are illustrated. What makes these European catalogues so interesting is that they were written by Lefkowith, who is / was the curator of the Baccarat Company Collection -- she was chosen to do the auction catalogues because of her expertise -- I believe that this is fifth of the series of parfum flacon catalogs she did

I find absolutely no rubbing on the usually expected cover extremities after some four dreary dull wet coldish blustery French / Swiss / New Jersey late summers -- tight binding, immaculate inside -- there are two smallish creases on the upper right front cover tip, nothing to write home about. This splendid volume would make an awesome addition to your vintage parfum bottle reference library, or as a gift for a friend -- an import in virtually like new condition
