Firstly... to really appreciate the item you need to ENLARGE the images...left mouse click ...some taken on the scanner look a differant colour and ones taken with a camera. Of these some are taken with & without flash.

A rather interesting folded parchment document.. it has NO seal ...it is quite readable though which is a bonus on such an early hand written document. 

Dated 27th June 1654 ..and its an indenture between ROBERT ALLEN THE YOUNGER in the County of what looks like RUTLAND ... Yeoman on the one part and ROBERT ALLEN THE OLDER of the same Yeoman .

It has another smaller bit of parchment sewn to the bottom left corner..which says its a LETTAR EXPRESSING something... various Fields by the look of it in SOWBROOKE .   

Collectable condition.. when its folded out its ... 11.5 x 9.5inch .. the little letter is 7.5inch x 6inch .. its folded so it has creases.. 4.5inch x 3.5inch when folded up.
