Yellow Falconry Bullet Jesses & Loop Leash NO RESERVE!

The Bullet Jess System is not a new modern concept, it was first documented in Khartoum by Bill Rutledge & Guy Aylmer in 1933, when they used Treasury Filing Tags on their Red Headed Merlins.

Here is my own take on the Bullet Jess System, combining my African and British falconry experience & knowledge. I have personally, through trade outlets and via The International Falconry Forum, (www.falconryforum.co.uk) sold over 300 pairs, with no reported failures and sent them out to more than a dozen different countries worldwide, where falconers have put them through their paces and proved, they are strong, reliable and they work! The Hawkmaster Bullet Jesses can be used at home or in the field with confidence because they are crafted from 550lb tight braided material, that is easy to care for, maintain and even clean by washing machine, on a cool wash. Of course they will withstand this treatment because of their construction method, which unlike some other similar items suffer and fall apart because the ends are only melted in to the bullets.  A free running ball bearing swivel ensures the main construction is tangle free and joints are shielded with heat shrink to protect areas where birds may interfere or get hooked up. They are about 7 inches (180mm) long and have a colour matched tabbed loop leash or a double loop leash, to tether it to your glove or perch permanently.

I have made the bullets folding rather than relying on a welded plastic seating, which I have found is a weakness if not made 100%. My method is stronger and also allows for easier insertion through the eyelet or grommet and they are machined from a good quality aluminium or brass. With my Jesses you will notice I also have eliminated the unsightly large lugs that some use to prevent the birds from pulling up the jesses. Try them and you will see why I have not included them.
