slot car kit McLaren M8 Champion chassis Pactra motor

1/24 scale slot car kit of the McLaren M8A. This kit of mostly original parts is from electric-dreams in the US and represents a state of the art 1969 pro-racing car. The chassis is a japanese copy of the Champion NCC20 chassisThis is a 2 rail anglewinder with the side pans mounted on a plumber on the drop arm. This is most likely made in nickel plated steel. The motor is or very similar to the Pactra 16D. The motor requires asembly. The endbell is an uprated Mura version with improved brush holders. The axles, wheels and gear are Cox. The axles are tapered and the wheels magnesium six spoke threaded wheels. The front tyres are rubber and the rears sponge. The tyres require to be mounted, glued and trued onto the wheels. The body is supplied pre-painted but has to be mounted on the chassis and the detailing done. The body is from thick clear plastic or butyrate that has been factory painted. Full instructions on the build are included and is aimed at the experienced builder.
